Why Haven’t You Manifested Your Dream Life Yet? | Evelina Hovich | Life Coaching

In my practice as a Toronto manifestation life coach, I’ve found the following to be true:

Our desires are here for a reason.

Life is supposed to be fun.

Joy is our natural state.

We are meant to fulfill our desires and live a happy life.

But if that’s true, why don’t you have what you want?

We live in a world of abundance.

Whatever you want, you can have it.

So why don’t you?

The answer is both simple and complicated.

The Nature Of Manifestation

You don’t have to learn how manifestation works in order to do it.

You’re manifesting right now.

So am I.

So is every living person out there.

It’s not something that’s only available to a select few.

The problem is that we tend to manifest by default.

Are you hoping to build intuitive confidence and a positive mindset?

If so, consider what it is you’re currently manifesting in your life.

But it’s more than just being intentional with your manifestation.

Here are some of the reasons why you don’t have what you want.

You’re Giving Up Too Quickly

If you begin a journey of conscious manifestation, you will almost certainly not get what you want immediately.

When that inevitably happens, you might be tempted to give up.

You might think you did it wrong.

You might think it’s not meant to be.

You might think you don’t deserve the thing you want.

This is all false – the only reason something isn’t meant to be is because you believe that’s the case.

On the other hand, if you want something to be, it’s meant to be.

Manifestation doesn’t work immediately.

God, source, the universe, whatever you want to call it – doesn’t give you what you want right away.

That might seem frustrating at first, but take a moment to imagine a world where everybody’s desires came true immediately.

Imagine every time somebody muttered some sort of curse under their breath against a driver who cut them off, it came true.

How awful would that be?

At the same time, imagine how pointless and boring it would be to just have everything you want right away without having to pursue it at all.

The joy is in the pursuit.

The joy is in creating your life.

The joy is in the journey of becoming.

This is what we’re here for.

Take a deep breath, relax, and keep going.

You Don’t Actually Want What You Think You Want

Yo, I’ll tell you what I want, what I really really want.

So tell me what you want what you really really want.

I know the song is stuck in your head now, so let’s give it a listen while we keep moving forward.

These ladies know what they want (what they really really want).

Do you?

Consider what you’re working toward in your life.

Then, consider what sort of influences are at work telling you this is what you want.

This can include:

  • Societal ideas
  • Your current romantic relationships
  • Your previous romantic relationships
  • Your parents
  • Your manager/boss
  • Your friends and peers

Why do you want what you think you want?

Are you trying to satisfy somebody else?

Do you feel an obligation to want what you want?

What would happen if you had a real, honest heart to heart with yourself?

What would happen if you asked yourself “what do I really want” and were open to the answer, whatever it may be?

You might think you don’t know what you want, but is that true?

Or is it that you’ve never taken the time and space to get clear on your true desires?

In my work as a manifestation life coach, one of the questions I commonly ask new clients is “what are your top four dreams?”

Some people answer that they’d like to manifest greater wealth and abundance.

Others want to manifest a state of greater health through wellness coaching.

But one of the most common responses is “I don’t know”.

But do you really not know?

Here are some questions to consider to help you answer the question:

  • If money was no object, what would you like to be, do, and have?
  • If nothing could go wrong and nobody would be upset, what would you like to be, do, and have?
  • If you were successful no matter what, what would you be, do, and have?

You’re Judging Yourself For Your Desires

So now that we’ve answered the questions above, hopefully you have a stronger idea of what you want.

What feelings come up when you do think about that?

In my sessions, I often hear people judge their desires.

They’ll say things like:

  • What I want is too shallow
  • What I want is too small
  • I’m supposed to want something more
  • What I want isn’t good enough
  • What I want isn’t going to help anyone
  • I don’t deserve what I want

But the words we use influence our reality more than you know.

And the more you tell yourself these things, the further you’ll move away from what it is you want.

But your desires are good enough, just because they are.

You have all the right to desire whatever it is you want.

And if you’re waiting for permission, here it is – I give you permission to want what you want.

Allow yourself to listen to your heart and admit to yourself what your desires are.

There’s no such thing as good and bad desires – they’re good because they are.

Everything you desire is based on the idea that achieving it will make you feel better.

So go ahead and desire it!

You Feel Jealous Of Others

So you dig into your desires and start to get clarity on them.

But what happens when you start to see others manifest the same desires?

You might wonder what makes them deserve those desires and not you.

Why them and not me?

Where’s mine?

Believe it or not, this will push you further and further from your desires.

Because the underlying thought is “they got what they wanted and now I can’t”.

This idea comes from a scarcity mindset.

Instead, reprogram your mind to come from a place of abundance.

Train yourself to see others accomplishing what you’re working toward as evidence that it’s possible.

Because if they can do it, so can you!

Celebrate every piece of evidence that what you do is possible.

Practice feeling joy, real, genuine joy, when you see others manifest for themselves what you desire.

You Just Don’t Believe You Can Have It

Practicing the frequency of belief takes commitment and consistency.

The reason you don’t have what you desire is that you don’t fully believe it yet.

Or, in other words, you’re not an energetic match to that desire/

Yet.

When you think of your desire, can you see it clearly?

Can you feel what it’s like to have it?

Can you get the sensation in your body of already having it?

If you can tap into it even for a few seconds, great.

Keep practicing and keep extending this time.

If you can’t tap into this feeling, if you can’t feel as if you already have it, you may need to reframe your desire.

I’m not suggesting you need to settle for less, but you may have to go up on your scale of desires incrementally.

Start with something more believable and move up the scale as you collect more evidence and your beliefs strengthen.

Belief is not even a belief if it looks like it won’t happen, and you still believe it will.

In fact, this is where the work starts.

Be kind to yourself, go easy and enjoy the journey and the process of intentional manifestation.
